The adventures of Dr. John Carrѐ part: 1

It was 1989 When Dr.John Carrѐ returned to London from Egypt, he collected the letter out of the desk and read it again. Had he really succeeded?
When he read through it for the last time, he thought for a while
It seemed clear enough. He had accomplished what he had been asked to do.
He had caught a taxi to the station. He had arrived well in time when the train from Berlin pulled in, John had given the parcel to a left luggage office and received a receipt for it.
He had purchased a letter-box and posted a receipt in the envelope he drought. No one had noticed him. No one had followed his tracks. He had disposed of the parcel and the receipt. There was nothing now to connect with Morrison or the crime. Why was he anxious? He did not normally become jittery. He boarded the train, took a seat and quickly fell asleep. He kept dreaming about the crime that had happened last month, could Morrison really be linked to all this?? He finally woke up after his long train ride to Paris. It was late at night when the train arrived, he stumbled off the vessel and collected his luggage then waited on the side of the road and whistled for a taxi to take him to his hotel. When Dr. John Carrѐ arrived at the hotel  he looked out over the balcony overlapping the Seine river which was traveling at a lazy pace he then looked up at the stars and mumbled to himself “My beloved Seira, only if you were still here.” He got up early the next morning and went to meet with his boss, the street lights lit up the city, it was still dark out which made him feel a little drowsy.
To be continued...
